Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of Solvir Box (box.solvir.net), run by Chen Xuanzhao, a sole proprietor in Shenzhen, China ("we"). By using the calculator or creating an account you agree to them.
1. The service
Solvir Box calculates how products fit in boxes and estimates billable weight. The results come from an algorithm working on the sizes you enter. They can differ from what fits in a real box, and from what a carrier or Amazon measures and charges. Check before you buy boxes or ship.
2. Your account
Accounts are shared across Solvir tools. Use a real email address and keep your password to yourself. You're responsible for what happens under your account. You must be 18 or older.
3. Free and Pro
The calculator is free. Pro is a subscription, billed monthly or yearly at the price shown on the pricing page and before you pay, in US dollars. It renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel.
4. Cancelling
Cancel any time from Manage billing on your account page. You won't be charged again, and Pro stays on until the end of the period you already paid for.
5. Payments
Payments are processed by Waffo, which acts as Merchant of Record. Waffo handles the card payment, any applicable tax and the receipt, and its own terms apply to the payment.
6. Refunds
Email support@solvir.net within 7 days of any charge and we'll refund it in full. Details are in the Refund Policy.
7. Your data
You keep ownership of the boxes and products you save. We store them only to show them to you and run your calculations.
8. Fair use
Don't try to break the service, overload it or get around the Pro limits. We may suspend accounts that do.
9. No warranty
The service is provided as is. We don't promise that it will always be available or that a box it suggests is the cheapest you could use.
10. Liability
As far as the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We aren't liable for indirect losses such as shipping costs or lost profit.
11. Ending your account
You can delete your account from the account page after cancelling Pro. We may close accounts that break these terms.
12. Changes
If we change these terms or the Pro price in a way that matters, we'll email you at least 14 days before the change takes effect. A new price only applies from your next renewal.
13. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. We'll try to settle any dispute by talking first; failing that, by arbitration in Shenzhen.
